What Happened

Texas Department  of Public Safety officials are investigating a two-vehicle collision that injured a driver at FM 907 in Alamo, TX on September 3rd, 2021. Police are saying it happened around 5:21 a.m. A Volkswagen Jetta operated by 24-year-old Jaime Moreno Tapia was exiting a parking lot when it reportedly failed to yield during a left turn. This led to it colliding with a Chrysler 300 operated by 50-year-old Esperanza Garza. Garza was seriously injured while Tapia was reportedly uninjured. Police charged Tapia with Intoxication Assault with a Motor Vehicle and issued a citation for No Driver's License.
