What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured five people at North Loop 250 and Garfield St in Midland, TX on March 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:10 p.m. Authorities are saying a GMC Yukon was eastbound prior to losing control, possibly due to speed, and overturning several times. Reports say several of the occupants of the vehicle were ejected on impact, three people involved being critically injured. Those three and two additional occupants, all between the ages of 16 and 22, were hospitalized for treatment. Authorities suggested suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the incident.
