What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured four people at Old Texaco Rd in Montgomery County, TX on August 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as repair crews were working on utility poles in the area. Officials allege a GMC Yukon traveling at a high rate of speed performed a turn and collided with a utility vehicle being used by the crew. One of the repair workers was exiting the truck at the time and struck in the crash. Three occupants of the GMC were trapped in the truck in the crash and required emergency extrication. Sources say the utility worker was seriously injured and hospitalized while the three GMC occupants were hospitalized, also with suspected serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
