What Happened

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 3:10 a.m. on October 25th, 2024, at U.S. Hwy 59. According to reports, a white Nissan Versa was traveling southbound when it allegedly collided with a black Ford Explorer, also traveling southbound. The impact caused the Ford Explorer to veer toward the median and roll over. A silver Chevrolet Silverado then struck the overturned Explorer, resulting in a second collision. The driver of the Ford, identified as Francisco Gallegos, was pronounced deceased at the scene, and a passenger in the Chevrolet Silverado was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
