What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed a man at I-35 in Laredo, TX on December 12th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 8 a.m. According to investigators, a Range Rover operated by 50-year-old Francisco Guerra is said to have have pilled into a shoulder, Guerra exiting the vehicle as an approaching tractor-trailer allegedly drifted out of its lane. Authorities say the truck struck the vehicle and Guerra before coming to a stop, its operator rendering aid. Guerra was taken to an area hospital with injuries he died from. Authorities did not have additional information available.
