What Happened

El Paso Police have issued arrest warrants for a driver in connection with a hit-and-run collision that happened on  I-10 in El Paso, TX on July 3rd, 2021. Police say that around 2:45 a.m., a Ford Explorer operated by Justin Tirado reportedly performed a lane switch and rear ended a Ford F-150 occupied by 69-year-old Francisco Higareda. The impact pushed the F-150 from the road where it overturned, causing fatal injuries the Higareda. Investigators say Tirado left the scene of the accident and on November 10th, issued arrest warrants for manslaughter.
