What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a collision that killed a man at I-635 in Dallas, TX on August 30th, 2021. Police say it happened around 10 p.m. 35-year-old Garry McGee was working to attach a disabled vehicle to a tow truck when the disabled vehicle was struck by an SUV. The impact pushed McGee over nearby railing where he fell about 50 feet to the road below. He was then struck by several vehicles, suffering fatal injuries. The woman in the SUV, 35-year-old Denise Chantel Alford, was arrested and faces Intoxication Manslaughter charges.
