What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at FM 1938 in North Richland Hills, TX on October 30th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:42 p.m. According to investigators, a BMW sedan is alleged to have been headed northbound on Davids Blvd at an unsafe speed. The vehicle is said to have veered over a center lane into southbound lanes before colliding with a Hyundai sedan. The impact caused the Hyundai to lost control before it was struck by an approaching Volkswagen Jetta. The crash left the driver of the Hyundai, identified as 21-year-old Gavin Owens, with fatal injuries. The other driver, age 28 and not publicly identified, was seriously injured.
