Police say the incident happened around 12:51 a.m. According to police, an Infiniti QX70 was northbound before colliding with a Hyundai Entourage under unclear circumstances. Reports say the crash caused the Infiniti to veer into a nearby retaining wall, the impact seriously injuring 52-year-old driver, George Buchanan Jr. Reports say Buchanan was hospitalized with injuries he died from shortly after arrival.
