What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Dallas North Tollway in Plano, TX on September 11th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:28 a.m. A Ford Five Hundred operated by 26-year-old Giovanni Rhodes reportedly veered from the road at a curve and veered into a concrete barrier. As the vehicle attempted to regain control, it struck a barrier wall in the opposite side of the road before bouncing back into the earlier concrete wall causing Rhodes serious injuries. Police issued a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
