What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured two people at US 84 in Garza County, TX on June 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:50 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 42-year-old Clyde, TX man reportedly collided with a Toyota Sienna when the truck driver looked away for a moment. The Sienna driver, a 78-year-old Snyder woman suffered minor injuries. Her passenger, 73-year-old Glenda Rae Butler, also suffered minor injuries. The Clyde man was not injured and issued a Failure to Control Speed citation.
