What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed both drivers at US 90 in Seguin, TX on December 3rd, 2021. Officials say it happened around 10:23 p.m. A Chevrolet HHR operated by a 61-year-old Seguin woman was headed westbound on Hwy 90 while a Toyota Corolla operated by 40-year-old Glenette Deniece Reid was headed eastbound. Police say the Chevrolet veered from its lane and collided with the Toyota, pushing it into a south-side guardrail. Both Reid and the other driver suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Investigators allege the Seguin woman may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
