Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 281 in Donna, TX on March 27th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 6:53 a.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler 200 operated by 37-year-old Salvador Mena was headed westbound when it failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 57-year-old Gloria Correa Hernandez. Hernandez suffered serious injuries in the collision. Mena suffered minor injuries and records indicate an Intoxication Assault and Driving While Intoxicated were recommended and/or issued.
