Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at County Rd and White Oak Dr in Polk County, TX on August 11th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 11:47 p.m. According to investigators, a truck headed westbound on County Rd is said to have veered from the road into an eastbound shoulder. While attempting to return to the roadway, reports claim the vehicle list control and instead flipped onto its side, ejecting the driver. The driver, only identified as a 54-year-old Goodrich man, was fatally injured. His 52-year-old passenger, also not publicly identified, allegedly suffered minor injuries, police say.
