Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 276 in Rockwall County, TX on March 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:14 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 36-year-old Longview man was reportedly turning left onto Hwy 276 as a Honda Civic operated by 60-year-old Greg Keith Schmidt was headed westbound. Police say during the turn, the Honda collided with the rear of the tractor-trailer due to the truck allegedly failing to yield at a stop sign. Schmidt suffered minor injuries.
