Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-35 and William Cannon Dr in Austin, TX on August 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:55 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra operated by 18-year-old Hannah Mata was headed southbound on I-35 when it collided with the rear of a Toyota Corolla operated by 27-year-old Luis Ayala-Sanchez. The collision caused serious injuries. Charges for Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop and Render Aid were recommended and/or issued.
