What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a person at Beltway 8 in Houston, TX on January 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. A Toyota Corolla headed eastbound Harwin Dr approached the intersection with Beltway 8 as a Toyota Camry did as well. Police say the vehicles collided and were not able to say which vehicle had right-of-way at the time. The driver and passenger of the Camry were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. 20-year-old Hector Valenzuela suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
