Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 22 in Hill County, TX on May 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:51 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado is alleged to have failed to remain its lane before crossing into a westbound lane and colliding with a westbound Pontiac Torrent. The operator of the Pontiac, identified as 54-year-old Helen Maxwell, was fatally injured. The operated of the Chevrolet had possible, unconfirmed injuries, reports say.  Sources indicate the driver was charged with Failure to Drive in Single Lane. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
