What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-30 and Hampton Rd in Dallas, TX on June 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Cruze operated by an 18-year-old male was headed eastbound on I-30 when it collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Officers suspect driver inattention on the part of the driver of the Chevrolet led to the collision, which seriously injured the driver. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Itishia Ineace Brandford, also suffered serious injuries. A child in the vehicle was evaluated for possible injuries and the truck driver, a 56-year-old Grand Prairie man, was not injured.
