Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-10 in Fayette County, TX on October 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tundra operated by 18-year-old Jacob Kyle Weldon was making a lane change while headed eastbound on I-10 when it lost control while entering a curve. It then struck a guardrail and overturning after striking a tractor-trailer operated by a 31-year-old Houston man. Weldon suffered serious injuries while the other driver was not injured.
