Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at College Ave in South Houston, TX on December 12th, 2023. Police believe the incident happened around 9:07 p.m. According to investigators, a Cadillac CTS operated by 61-year-old Jose Arias was eastbound on College Ave. Headed westbound on College Ave was a Honda Accord, operated by 22-year-old Jamar Alston. Reports say the Cadillac entered south onto Austin St on a red light as the Honda proceeded on.a green light. The two vehicles collided at the intersection, the impact leaving Alston with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. Arias was uninjured, according to reports, which show a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge recommended and/or issued against Arias. Additional information was not available.
