Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. 25-year-old Jameka Brown was outside her vehicle taking pictures of damage to her vehicle following a previous minor collision. While doing so, a vehicle operated by 32-year-old Louis Jerel Ellis is said to have hoped a curb and struck Brown. Brown suffered serious injuries in the incident. Ellis was not injured. Investigators allege Ellis was intoxicated at the time of the crash and faces an Intoxication Assault charge.
