Officials say the incident happened around 9:12 p.m. Their investigation revealed Ford Edge operated by 24-year-old Sean Warner headed northbound on Nichols Sawmill veering left. It then reportedly crossed a center turn lane into southbound lanes and collided head-on with a BMW operated by 20-year-old Jared Barron. Barron was seriously injured in the collision while Warner suffered less serious injuries. Reports indicate Warner was arrested on a charge of Intoxication Assault.
