What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Hubbard St and 11th Ave in Mineral Wells, TX on June 24th, 2021. Police are saying the crash happened around 8:34 p.m. A Nissan 350Z operated by 24-year-old Jarred Bryan Burson was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control and began to fishtail. It then crashed into two city signs and a retaining wall. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and eject Burson from the vehicle, who police allege was not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
