Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Collins St in Arlington, TX on March 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:01 p.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler 300 operated by a 21-year-old Dallas man was headed northbound on Collins St when it collided with a pedestrian under unclear circumstances. Investigators say the area was not well lit and the area the pedestrian used to cross was not a crosswalk. They also allege the vehicle was traveling at a speed above the posted speed limit at the time. The pedestrian, identified as 33-year-old Jasmine Henry, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
