Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 573 in Mills County, TX on December 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:48 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 operated by 52-year-old Jason Hopper was headed southbound before veering from the road for unknown reasons. It then traveled into a drainage ditch and lost control while attempting to return to the road. It went into a skid and spin clockwise into a true and fence.
