Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 19 in Trinity County, TX on October 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:35 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by an unnamed 39-year-old Long Beach, MS man was traveling along southbound State Hwy 19 prior to colliding with a pedestrian that was in or near the road. The pedestrian, identified as 36-year-old Jason Edward Puffer, was killed in the collision. Police had no additional information to share.
