Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at RR 255 and FM 1007 in Jasper County, TX on November 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened as a Hyundai Elantra was headed westbound on RR 255. Police say a pickup truck headed eastbound attempted to turn onto FM 1007 and both vehicles collided head-on. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as 25-year-old Jayson London was hospitalized with serious injuries. The other driver, 20-year-old Christopher Wood, was uninjured.
