Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at I-35 in Lorena, TX on October 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:20 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti I35 was northbound in a center lane. Also northbound behind the Infiniti was a Kia Sedona operated by 43-year-old Jennifer Holdt. Police say the Infiniti traveled into an outside lane, slowing before making a sudden left turn ahead of the Kia. Investigators say the Kia attempted evasive action before the vehicles collided, leaving Holdt with suspected serious injuries. Her 10-year-old passenger had non-life-threatening injuries, police say, as did the driver of the Infiniti. Sources allege possible alcohol involvement from the operator of the Infiniti.
