What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 1425 in Mercedes, TX on February 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened when a Dodge collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances. Investigators believe the Dodge was headed northbound at the time before it struck the rear of the other vehicle, a Ford Fusion.
