What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 290 in Manor, TX on July 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:54 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 39-year-old Austin man reportedly ran a red light at an intersection to make a u-turn and collided with a Chevrolet Trax with a green light. The Trax driver, 42-year-old Jennifer Thurman and her passenger, 55-year-old Billy Thurman, both suffered minor injuries. The uninjured Austin man was issued a Running Red Light citation.
