What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 175 in Seagoville, TX on April 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:24 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic was eastbound on Hwy 175 before losing control on the wet roads. Authorities sat the vehicle spun out and struck a Nissan Frontier which had also previously lost control and spun out. The vehicle was in a shoulder area of the roadway when it was struck by the Honda, which also struck its operator, identified as 43-year-old Jerid Harms. Harms was hospitalized with serious injuries, reports say while the driver and passenger of the Honda were also hospitalized with injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
