What Happened

Officials are investigating a collision that injured at least one person involved at State Hwy 183 in Irving, TX on October 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. According to investigators, a Lincoln MKZ is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with the rear of a westbound Chevrolet Equinox. Police say the occupants of the Equinox, including 35-year-old driver, Jes Semma Hunter, 72-year-old passenger, Carolyn Hughes and an infant all had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Lincoln, only identified as a 54-year-old Arlington man, was allegedly seriously injured and charged with DWI. Additional inforamtion was not available.
