Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at West 2nd St in Taylor, TX on October 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:23 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 23-year-old Jesse Daniel Baldenegro was headed eastbound on Hwy 79 when it was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban operated by 27-year-old Guillermo Hernandez-Huerta. Baldenegro died at the scene. Hernandez-Huerta reportedly fled the scene prior to police arrival at the scene before later going to police for questioning. Additional information was not immediately available.
