What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at South Flores St in San Antonio, TX on March 27th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 12:08 a.m. According to investigators, a Buick was traveling southbound on South Flores St while a Chevrolet Trailblazer was headed northbound at a high rate of speed. The Trailblazer reportedly veered from its lane and collided with the Buick, causing the driver of the Buick to be ejected from the car. Identified as Jessica Brill Gonzales, the ejected driver died at the scene while a front passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was allegedly intoxicated and faces an intoxication manslaughter charge.
