What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Watercrest Dr and Bachelor Button Blvd in Killeen, TX on November 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:15 p.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck was stopped waiting to turn south onto Bachelor Button Blvd. Officials say while stopped, the vehicle was struck by an approaching Chevrolet SUV, the impact pushing the stopped vehicle into an eastbound lane. There, police say the vehicle was struck by an approaching eastbound motorcycle, with two occupants. One of the occupants, identified as 34-year-old Jessikah Richardson, died at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle was hospitalized with serious injuries. The two other drivers were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
