Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at US 380 in Young County, TX on November 16th, 2024. According to investigators, a Mercedes CLA 250 was involved in a collision with a Mazda 3. Reports allege the Mercedes veered out of its lane before crossing into a westbound lane and colliding head-on with the Mazda. Authorities say the driver of the Mazda, identified as 44-year-old Jody Lynn Rymel was taken to an area hospital with injuries she died from the following day. The Mercedes operator, identified as 47-year-old Jeffy Ann Bartholomae allegedly had non-life-threatening injuries. Additional inform ion was not available.
