What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 349 in Dawson County, TX on August 11th, 2021. Police say it happened around 5:39 p.m. and involved a pair of Dodge Ram trucks. A Ram 3500 towing a trailer and operated by 34-year-old Edwin Gomez Hernandez failed to yield during a left turn and collided with a Ram 1500 operated by 62-year-old Joe Jaramillo. Jaramillo suffered minor injuries. Hernandez was not injured and charged with Failure to Yield Row-Left Turn.
