What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-45 in Montgomery County, TX on June 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 45-year-old Fort Worth man reportedly made a lane change into a lane occupied by a Ford F-150 operated by 50-year-old John Britt Irving. When doing so, it struck the truck on the side causing it to spin out of control and crash into a concrete barrier. Irving suffered minor injuries while the other driver was not injured. Police issued the Fort Worth man a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge.
