What Happened

Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on April 3, 2025, at the intersection of RM 33 and FM 461 in Glasscock County, Texas. According to the Department of Public Safety, the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield the right of way while turning left and collided with a Ford Expedition traveling through the intersection. The Ford was carrying 80-year-old John Cypert and 78-year-old Josephine Cypert. Both sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
