What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at North Loop 250 in Midland, TX on July 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Investigators say a motorcycle was headed northbound on the service road at an alleged high rate of speed prior to striking a raised curb. This caused the motorcycle to lost control and veered across an alleyway before rotating and flipping over. The crash ejected the driver from the vehicle and suffered injuries he died from. He was identified as 37-year-old John-Paul Reyes. Officers had no additional information to share regarding the incident.
