Area authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 99 in Harris County, TX on September 18th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 3:40 p.m. According to investigators, a BMW X5 operated by 76-year-old John Sautter was headed westbound on a Hwy 99 service road prior to veering from its lane into a pair of traffic signs. The vehicle travelled over a concrete median a before coming to rest off of the roadway. Sautter was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from.
