Police say the incident happened around 4:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Titan operated by 24-year-old Trent Warren was headed northbound on US 59 when it suffered a front right tire blowout. This caused the vehicle to lose control and veered into a center grassy median, colliding with a cable barrier. A passenger, 41-year-old John Warren III, was seriously injured while Trent Warren was evaluated for possible injuries.
