Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Kingsley Rd in Garland, TX on August 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:46 p.m. A Kia Soul operated by 42-year-old John White was traveling through a an intersection on a green light when it collided with a Dodge Ram operated by 29-year-old German Santos Maldonado that had a flashing yellow light. White suffered serious injuries while his passenger, 36-year-old Jenilee McIver, was less seriously injured. Maldonado was not injured and arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
