What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at I-35W in Hill County, TX on September 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:49 a.m. A street sweeper operated by a 35-year-old Waco man was working northbound with a maintenance crew in the right shoulder when it changed lanes when unsafe and crossed overt the right lane into a left lane. It collided with Chrysler 300 in the left lane operated by 27-year-old Jordan Benford. Benford suffered serious injuries while the Waco man was not injured. Police cited him with Improper Driver License for Type of Vehicle and Changing Lanes When Unsafe.
