What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed four people at I-35E in Carrollton, TX on March 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:44 a.m. Right now, investigators believe an 18-wheeler collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances before it caught fire. Four people involved suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police identified two of the victims as 51-year-old Jorge Loera and 61-year-old Maria Loera. Also killed in the crash were 37-year-old Chrystal Gaillard and 48-year-old Shaletha Daniels. One individual was hospitalized with serious injuries.
