Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a person at I-20 in Eastland County, TX on May 12th, 2023. Police say it happened around 10:39 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 36-year-old Suwanee, GA man was headed eastbound prior to colliding with a disabled vehicle. Officers say the vehicle, operated by 21-year-old Joel Angel Sabando, had been involved in a previous collision and left the vehicle in travel lanes without active lighting. The impact pushed the disabled vehicle into a median. Sabando had injuries believed to be serious in nature, however, it was not clear which accident the injuries were sustained from.
