Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Ave B in Bay City, TX on July 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:31 p.m. Investigators allege a Toyota Corolla operated by 26-year-old Jose Palomares was involved in a police pursuit while headed westbound at 7th Street. They further allege the vehicle turned northbound onto Avenue B where a tow truck was parked blocking the roadway. Officials say the Toyota was attempting to travel around the tow truck before it struck a building and crashed into a nearby A/C unit.
