Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in San Marcos, TX on October 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:13 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by 65-year-old Robert Ray Krontz, was headed southbound in a left lane before a Chevrolet City Express operated by 35-year-old Jose Salazar Montemayor suffered a tire blow out. It caused the vehicle to lose control and veer into the path of the commercial truck, causing Montemayor to suffer serious injuries. The other driver was not injured.
