What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-20 in Harrison County, TX on June 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. According to investigators, a van headed westbound on I-20 is said to have lost control for unknown reasons before veering from its lane. The vehicle then overturned into the path of an approaching semi-truck. Police say the truck struck the van before crashing into a cable barrier.
